Bartlo Oosthuizen has extensive experience in finance and operations within the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Insurance Operations - Billing & Collections at Markel since January 2011. Previous roles at Markel include Director and Manager in Finance Process and Solutions, as well as Accounting Manager for Markel Ventures. Prior experience includes positions at Massey Energy as SEC Reporting Manager, Cavalier Telephone as Financial Reporting Manager, and Ernst & Young and Reznick Group as a Senior Audit Associate. Bartlo Oosthuizen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Radford University, completed between 1998 and 2002, and attended Paul Roos Gymnasium for high school education.
