Lakecia Miller

LaKecia Miller, APM, currently serves as the Disbursements Manager at Markel since September 2019, overseeing payment services and managing a significant volume of disbursements. Previously, LaKecia held various roles at Georgetown University from July 2014 to September 2019, including Director and Assistant Director of Accounts Payable, supervising a team and managing approximately $300 million in payments. Prior experience includes positions as Accounts Payable Manager at ABC Imaging, Contractor - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager at American Capital, and Accounts Payable Manager at Hanley Wood. LaKecia holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
