Robert Varnell is currently the Director of Marine at Markel, where they have also served as an Underwriting Manager and Marine Claims Manager. They previously worked at Progressive Insurance as a Property Damage Specialist and in Claims Leadership for Special Lines, managing processes for various recreational vehicles. Varnell has been a member of IAMI since 2009 and attended Concordia University-St. Paul from 1996 to 1998.
