Bob Dorhout Mees

Bob Dorhout Mees has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on leadership roles. Bob began their career at Marsh as an Account Executive, where they worked from 1990 to 2001. Following this, they joined International SOS as a Managing Director from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they took on the role of Managing Director at Schouten Insurance International B.V. until 2016. From there, they became Divisional Managing Director at Markel International, and eventually moved on to become the Algemeen Directeur at Markel Nederland in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at Markel Insurance SE.

Bob Dorhout Mees attended Blundell's School from 1984 to 1986, where they completed their A levels. Following that, they enrolled at the Royal Agricultural University from 1987 to 1990.
