Talina Hammonds has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Talina began their career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008, where they provided assistance in various tasks until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Appalachian State University, teaching music theory and collaborating on textbook choices. In 2014, Talina joined Cox & Gage, PLLC as a Paralegal, where they acted as a liaison between attorneys and clients, drafted legal documents, and transcribed dictation. Talina then transitioned to Tremblay & Smith, PLLC in 2016, taking on the role of Legal Administrative Assistant. In this position, they spearheaded the creation of a file closing protocol, led the overhaul of file archive digitization, and performed paralegal duties for domestic law attorneys. Currently, Talina works at Market America, Inc. as a Business Analyst, where they conduct research, analyzes business needs, and manages stakeholder relationships. Talina acts as a liaison between the business community and the IT Development Team, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

Talina Hammonds has a diverse education history. Talina obtained a Certificate in Technology Project Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Music Performance, specializing in Flute, from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from 2012 to 2014. Talina also earned a Paralegal Certificate from Guilford College in 2014.

In their earlier education, from 2008 to 2014, Talina pursued a Master of Music degree in Music Theory from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Their undergraduate studies were at Appalachian State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance.

In addition to their formal education, Talina has obtained two additional certifications. In March 2022, they completed the Technology Project Management Boot Camp offered by UNC-Chapel Hill Digital and Lifelong Learning.
