Charmi Shah

Charmi Shah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Charmi is currently working as the Head of Compliance at Market Pulse Tech since September 2021. In this role, they have established a compliance framework and processes for the Stock Broking and Depository Participant business. Charmi is responsible for monitoring the compliance of rules, regulations, notifications, guidelines, and instructions issued by regulators and exchanges. Charmi also supervises daily settlements, return filing, client communications, monitoring operations, reporting, empanelment, and risk monitoring.

Prior to their current role, Charmi served as the Manager Compliance at Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund from July 2016 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.

From April 2013 to June 2016, Charmi worked as an Assistant Manager at DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund. Their responsibilities included assisting in compliance-related matters.

Charmi started their professional journey as a Management Trainee at Mehta & Mehta Associates (MehtaIP) in Gurgaon, India, from September 2011 to January 2013.

Charmi Shah pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they attended The Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in company secretary and specialized in the legal field. Their education journey continued with their enrollment at Kishinchand Chellaram Law College (KC Law College) from 2013 to 2016, where they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, further specializing in the legal field.
