Rusdi Sumner

Rusdi Sumner's work experience includes positions at various companies. Rusdi is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at Market Street Trust Company since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Client Family Services Officer at the same company from November 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Market Street Trust Company, they served as a Managing Director, Client Family Services & Senior Financial Planner at the company from March 2020 to November 2020.

In addition to their current role, Rusdi is also a Member at Chief since October 2022.

Prior to their roles at Market Street Trust Company, Rusdi worked at Tompkins Financial Advisors. Rusdi held the position of Vice President, Managing Director from May 2019 to March 2020 and Financial Planner, Assistant Vice President from July 2016 to March 2020. At Tompkins Financial Advisors, they launched the financial planning group for the Central New York region and focused on providing a comprehensive client experience.

Before joining Tompkins Financial Advisors, Rusdi worked at Avalon Homes as the President from 2006 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning, business development, sales & marketing, contract management, and finance operations. Rusdi oversaw the launch of four divisions and achieved a 15% annual revenue increase.

Rusdi's earlier work experience includes a role as an Associate Broker at Warren Real Estate from 2006 to 2016. Rusdi assisted clients in the sale and purchase of residential and investment real estate and specialized in financial statement analysis. Rusdi also worked as an Associate Broker at Audrey Edelman RealtyUSA from 2001 to 2006. In this role, they facilitated residential and investment real estate transactions, grew sales volume, and earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation.

Rusdi Sumner has pursued a diverse educational background in the field of business. Rusdi holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics & Communications from the State University of New York Cortland. Additionally, they have obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from two prestigious institutions: the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.

In addition to their formal education, Rusdi Sumner has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional expertise. Rusdi has completed the "Cybersecurity Leadership for Non-Technical Executives" program offered by MIT Sloan Executive Education.
