Alexander Brown

Alexander Brown started their work experience as a Student Intern at the University of Nicosia in 2016, where they attended a 4-week Engineering Summer School. Alexander then participated in the London International Youth Science Forum as a Student in the same year. In 2017, Alexander served as an Army Officer in the National Guard of Cyprus after undergoing officer training.

In 2019, they interned at NetU Group. The following year, Alexander worked as a Technology Intern for MarketAxess. Alexander later joined MarketAxess again in 2022 as a Software Engineer, where they are currently a member of an Agile scrum team working on a fixed income post-trade reporting solution. Additionally, Alexander worked as a Freelance Software Engineer for mesonomics in 2022, assisting a team in developing an MVP for a Bitcoin transaction alert service. Alexander has also pursued AWS certifications during their time at MarketAxess.

Alexander Brown attended The English School in Nicosia from 2010 to 2017 and obtained a High School Diploma. Later, from 2018 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science at the University of Bristol.
