Christophe Roupie

Christophe Roupie is the current head of EMEA and APAC at MarketAxess Europe Limited and Post-Trade at MarketAxess. Prior to this, they spent 10 years at AXA Investment Managers as the global head of trading and securities financing. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 50+ people located in Europe, Asia, and the US. Christophe was also the CEO of AXA IM IF, a French company regulated by the AMF and the ACPR, and a Director of AXA IM GS, a UK-based company regulated by the FCA.

Under Roupie's leadership, AXA IM won the Trade Magazine award for the "Buy-side Best Trading Desk of the year" in 2014 and 2015. Christophe is an active speaker in various roundtables at conferences worldwide on topics such as best execution, liquidity, securities lending, unbundling, RPAs and much more.

A direct report to Christophe Roupie is and Raj Paranandi - COO, EMEA & APAC. Christophe Roupie works with Julie Sheffet - Chief Human Resources Officer, Oliver Huggins - Global Chief Risk Officer, and Nash Panchal - Chief Information Officer. Their manager is Richard M. McVey, Chairman & CEO.
