Conor Colasurdo

Conor Colasurdo's work experience includes various legal roles in different organizations. Conor is currently working as an Assistant General Counsel at MarketAxess since January 2021. Prior to this, Conor worked as Counsel, Corporate & Securities at Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. from April 2019 to December 2020, where they handled SEC, NYSE, corporate governance, corporate finance, and general corporate matters.

Before joining Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., Conor worked as an Associate in the Corporate (Capital Markets) department at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from December 2017 to April 2019. At Simpson Thacher, they represented issuers and underwriters in corporate governance, securities offerings, SEC filings, and corporate transactions across various industries.

Prior to that, Conor served as an Associate in the Global Capital Markets department at Milbank LLP from October 2014 to December 2017. In this role, they represented issuers and underwriters in international and US securities offerings, provided general securities advice, and assisted with Exchange Act filings.

Conor also gained valuable experience during their time as a Spring Student Honors Program Intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a Summer Associate at Milbank LLP in 2014 and 2013 respectively.

Furthermore, Conor served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Richard K. Eaton at the U.S. Court of International Trade, where they prepared bench memoranda and draft court documents, observed oral arguments and court proceedings. Conor also worked as a Legal Intern at the Open Society Foundations' Office of General Counsel and as an International Programs Intern at the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs.

Conor Colasurdo began their education at Fordham University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Political Economy. Conor attended the university from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Conor pursued further education at Fordham University School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2011 to 2014. In 2022, Conor also took part in an executive education program at NYU Stern School of Business, focusing on Corporate Sustainability.
