Kat Sweeney

Kat (Kathryn) Sweeney joined MarketAxess in 2021 as the Head of Index and ETF Solutions and was named the Global Head of Data & ETF Solutions and joined the management team in 2022. In this role, Kat is the business owner for global Data business, inclusive of product management and data sales. Prior to joining MarketAxess Ms. Sweeney worked at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), where she was a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Institutional Client Group for North America. Prior to joining SSGA, she spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs. During her time there, she played a strategic role in building Goldman’s ETF market making business and held a variety of roles across execution, risk management, product development and distribution.

Ms. Sweeney attended Boston College.
