Nikul G Patel

Nikul G Patel has a diverse work experience in software engineering and data management. Nikul G started their career at Infilon Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Software Developer, where they worked on an automated reporting system for network performance using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nikul G then joined New York University as an IT Technologist intern, gaining practical experience in the field. After that, they worked at Accenture as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the implementation of the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) using Apache Kafka, Spark, Hive, and HBase. Nikul G also played a key role in building and developing adapters for the Kariba data cataloging system. Currently, Nikul holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at MarketAxess, specializing in Cloud Data Platform. Nikul G'sexpertise and skills include Apache Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, Hive, and HBase.

Nikul G Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering at Gujarat University from 2007 to 2011. Nikul G later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at New York University from 2014 to 2016.

Additionally, Nikul has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (obtained in January 2019), AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty (obtained in November 2017), and AWS Certified Developer - Associate (obtained in June 2017). Nikul G has also completed various Cloud Computing courses, such as "Cloud Computing Applications" from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (obtained in October 2015), "Cloud Computing concepts: Part 2" (obtained in March 2015), and "Cloud Computing concepts" (obtained in February 2015), both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nikul also completed "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1)" from Rice University in August 2015.
