Paulo Costa

Paulo Costa has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Paulo is currently working at MarketAxess as the Head of Data for the EMEA & Asia Pacific region since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Market Data Sales at MarketAxess Europe from 2013 to 2021. In this role, they managed a sales team and focused on promoting and growing the Xtrakter information services products within the company's market data division. Before joining MarketAxess, Paulo worked at Xtrakter, Ltd. as the Head of Sales from 2008 to 2013, where they primarily dealt with transaction reporting under the MiFID regulatory structure. From 2000 to 2008, they served as the Associate Director - Business Development at the International Capital Markets Association, where they led a team to increase the trade matching community and attract new clients for various services. Prior to that, they worked at ISMA as the Deputy Sales Manager and Sales Executive, and at Alain Charles Publishing as a Sales Executive.

Paulo Costa attended Islington Sixth Form Centre from 1987 to 1990. However, the specific degree and field of study they pursued during this period are unknown. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, they attended the University of Westminster, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Spanish & French.
