Tanmay Gulati

Tanmay Gulati began their work experience in 2017 as an Intern in Computer Vision at VISINT Health Care Pvt Ltd. They then worked as a Data Analyst Intern at i2e1 Information To Every One in 2018. In 2019, they held two roles as a Summer Research Intern and Remote Research Intern at the University of Waterloo, where they worked on projects related to deep learning and super resolution of retinal fundus images. In 2020, Tanmay joined Novartis as a Software Engineer, where they developed and mentored projects involving self-supervised learning, question answering, and text summarization. They also optimized document extraction modules and created custom word documents. Tanmay later became a Course Assistant and Grader at New York University in 2021, before joining MarketAxess as a Software Development Intern in 2022 and later transitioning to a Software Engineer role in 2023.

Tanmay attended New York University from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.

From 2016 to 2020, they studied at Manipal Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

Prior to that, Tanmay completed their high school education at Delhi Public School - Gurgaon from 2014 to 2016, with a focus on the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subjects.

During their middle school years from 2006 to 2014, they attended Strawberry Fields School for Juniors and received a Middle School Diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Tanmay also earned various certifications. Tanmay obtained a Computer Vision Nanodegree from Udacity in June 2021. In August 2020, they completed "The Complete 2020 Flutter Development Bootcamp with Dart" course offered by Udemy. In September 2019, they successfully finished the "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction" course and also the "Natural Language Processing in Tensorflow" course, both offered by Coursera. In May 2019, they completed the "Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow" course as well as the "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" course, both from Coursera. In December 2018, Tanmay accomplished the "Introduction to Deep Learning" course from Coursera. Earlier in January 2018, they completed the "Deep Learning and Neural Networks" course, also offered by Coursera. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "AWS Concepts" from Udemy in August 2017 and "Algorithmic Toolbox" from Coursera in June 2017.
