Wei Yuan

Wei Yuan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Production Support Analyst at MarketAxess in April 2020. Following this, they joined Oceanfront Lodge in September 2021 as a Hotel Police. In this role, they took initiative to hire developers, integrated software and hardware systems, automated payroll processes, and restructured wages to improve efficiency and incentivize employees. They also customized and integrated various plugins and APIs to enhance the hotel's operations and profitability. Prior to these roles, Wei Yuan worked as an Automation Lead at UBS from January 2017 to April 2020.

Wei Yuan attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in computational physics. In December 2016, they also earned a certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In April 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification through a partnership with Alpine Testing Solutions.
