David Charles Whittaker has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and digital advertising. David Charles started their career at Wunderman in 1992 and later worked at Ogilvy as an account director. David Charles joined Rapp Collins in 1995, where they held the positions of Vice President and later President. In 2000, they moved to WWAV Rapp Collins as the General Manager for digital. From 2001 to 2008, they worked at Nextdirect as a Partner and CEO. In 2008, they became the Managing Director at Marketdata. During this time, they also served on the Global Advisory Board of the Direct Marketing Association, USA. David Charles was an Advisory Board member of the Direct Marketing Association, India from 2011 to 2014.

David Charles Whittaker attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, where they studied Business & Finance. David Charles then pursued a Post Graduation degree in Finances, auditing, and controlling at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2003 to 2005. In 2000, they completed the Omnicom Senior Management Program at Babson College. David also obtained an MBA from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1999 to 2001. David Charles'seducation also includes studying at the Institute of Data & Marketing at Imperial College London in 1993 and 1994.
