Board Member at Marketer

Stuart Clarke is currently a Board Member at Marketer, and was previously the Head of Digital Marketing at The Economist Intelligence Unit (The EIU) from March 2020 to March 2021. Stuart has also held the position of Digital Marketing Manager at The EIU from May 2016 to March 2020.

Stuart is responsible for the management of all marketing content on EIU.com and related properties, with a key focus on lead generation and e-commerce. Stuart led the development of the new marketing website and enhancements, ensuring The EIU's solutions are clearly communicated to prospective customers. Stuart also managed the internal digital marketing team and relationships with external agencies, as well as using digital techniques to improve engagement and conversion rates.

In their role as Digital Marketing Manager, Stuart partnered with digital development team to deliver the marketing strategic roadmap for web properties, including usability, conversion, and content discovery. Stuart also had commercial responsibility for The EIU Store, including online and offline marketing campaign management. Lastly, they were responsible for improving content discovery of web properties through paid and owned channels, including social media, search and content promotion on website.

Stuart Clarke completed a BA in English Literature with Film Studies from Bangor University. Prior to that, they completed A-levels in Film Studies (A), Stuart'story (B), English (B), and Business Studies (B) from South Cheshire College. Stuart also completed 12 GCSEs (4 A*, 5 As, 3 Bs) from Brine Leas High School, including English Language and Literature and Maths.
