Chris Hughes has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to customer success, support, and technology in the financial industry. Chris most recently worked at MarketFactory as a Customer Success Manager from 2016 onwards. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Nomura International, starting in 2008 as an Associate in Equity Derivatives, Global Markets. In this role, they were responsible for supporting option market making, ETF quoting, and publication of global indicative structured product quotes. Chris also worked on various internal systems for pricing, booking, analysis, and RFQ pricing and response. Before joining Nomura, Chris worked at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in Equity Derivatives Technology, where they supported the firm's front office equity derivative system and resolved issues related to PnL, pricing, risk, and trade capture. Prior to that, they were a Senior Support Analyst at Citi, where they supported the Global Risk Management platform and ensured connectivity to derivative exchanges. Earlier in their career, Chris worked at Euronext.liffe as a Senior Trading Systems Analyst, providing 2nd line support for the LIFFE CONNECT trading platform and gaining technical skills in Unix and SQL. Chris began their career at Invesco Perpetual, where they worked as an Industrial Trainee and gained experience in supporting users and project management. Chris has a diverse skill set, including experience with various financial instruments and systems, technical skills in Unix and SQL, and soft skills in report writing and presenting.

Chris Hughes attended Bournemouth University from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Decision Information Systems.
