Uday Gummalla

Uday Gummalla has extensive work experience in software engineering and consulting roles. Uday is currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Market Medium, a Vendavo Company since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Tribus Point as the Director of Software Engineering from September 2011 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Principal Consultant at Caliber Services, LLC, where they focused on integration product development and Oracle EBS consulting from August 2009 to August 2011. Uday also held positions such as Principal Product Manager at Activate Enterprise from August 2008 to June 2009, and Project Leader in the Oracle AIA Product Engineering Team at Oracle India from August 2003 to August 2008. Uday'searlier experiences include roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at IIIT Hyderabad, where they worked on transaction processing research, and as the Founder and Faculty Member at IMPoK School of Computer Sciences, where they taught courses on Unix and C programming. Uday started their career as an Intern at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory and later worked as a Member of Technical Staff at INetSolv Solutions, where they taught programming languages and participated in testing web-based projects.

Uday Gummalla pursued their education with a focus on computer science and engineering. Uday completed their M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Osmania University, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. Uday Gummalla also completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kakatiya University, during the period from 1995 to 1998.
