Evgenii Kozhanov

Evgenii Kozhanov has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Java Developer and Python Developer at a360.ru, where they developed a multi-transport searcher based on NoSQL DB Neo4j and a timetable import module with Python, Mongo and Neo4j. Evgenii also solved back-end tasks with Python/Django and took part in solving front-end tasks with jQuery and Knockout. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Python Developer at Biletix.ru, where they developed APIs for partner's services based on Python/Flask, an API for collect logs based on Python/aiohttp, a CMS for Biletix Blog based on Wagtail/Django and Ansible scripts, and an API & whitelabel for affiliate program based on Python/Flask. Evgenii also managed a team of three people from April 2017. Since 2021, they have been working as a Python Engineer at MarketMuse.

Evgenii Kozhanov obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics in Applied Mathematics from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University between 2011 and 2014. Evgenii then went on to obtain a Master's degree in management of transportation processes and railroad operational planning from Moscow State University of Transport (MIIT) between 2002 and 2007, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in the same field from the same university between 2007 and 2010. In addition, Evgenii has obtained several certifications from institutions such as Coursera, Udemy, Duke University, HackerRank, University of Helsinki, and Reaktor between 2020 and 2022.
