Jon Cavenagh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jon began their career as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia in 2002 and then moved to Westpac, where they worked as an Economist from 2004 to 2006, and later as a Currency Strategist from 2006 to 2015. Jon then joined J.P. Morgan as the Head of EM Asia FX Strategy and served as the Executive Director from 2015 to 2020. Following that, they worked as a Senior Market Strategist at Informa Financial Intelligence from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Jon is employed as an Asia FX/FI Analyst at MNI - Market News.
Jon Cavenagh obtained an Honours degree in Economics from The University of Queensland, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001.
