Ellen Rolfes

Ellen Rolfes is an experienced multimedia professional with a strong background in writing, producing, and editing content for various media platforms. Currently serving as a Writer at Marketplace by APM since January 2022, Rolfes specializes in newsletters and explainer pieces for digital audiences. Prior roles include Documentaries Producer at Scripps News, where oversight of field shoots and special projects was key, and Associate Producer for Podcasts at the Smithsonian Institution, where two podcasts were produced. Rolfes has also held positions at Vox.com, New York Public Radio, PBS NewsHour, Interfaith Voices, and Twin Cities Public Television, showcasing expertise in multimedia production, project management, and storytelling.
