Kelly Silvera

Kelly Silvera is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as News Director and Executive Producer at Marketplace by APM since March 2023, Silvera previously held the position of CEO & Co-Founder at Fawma Inc from September 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing content and communications strategies. Noteworthy achievements include receiving the Caribbean Pivot Award from the InterAmerican Development Bank in 2020 and being a Tech For Good Finalist at the 2022 UN World Innovation Hackathon. Silvera also served as Vice President of News at CVM Television Limited, where significant transformations and profitability strategies were implemented. Additional roles include leadership positions at Al Jazeera Media Network, where Silvera contributed to launching English channels and receiving numerous industry accolades. Silvera holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of the Arts London.
