John Brenton

John Brenton has a strong and extensive work history in finance and auditing. John most recently served as the VP Corporate Controller at Markforged starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Controller at Corindus Vascular Robotics from April 2015 to November 2020. Additionally, they have held the position of Corporate Controller at Chase Corporation from June 2007 to November 2014. Before transitioning to corporate roles, John worked as the Director of Internal Audit at J. Jill Group, Inc. from 2003 to 2007. John began their career as an Internal Auditor at GTE Service Corporation in 1996. John has also gained experience as a Finance Manager at Genuity and as a Systems Integration Specialist at Louis Dreyfus. John started their career as a Financial Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick in 1990.

John Brenton attended Silver Lake Regional High from 1982 to 1986. John then went on to Syracuse University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
