Nicholas Kalweit

Nicholas Kalweit has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as Manager of Systems Print Engineering at Markforged since March 2018, with a progression from Senior Materials Print Engineer to Team Lead. Previous experience includes roles at Ford Motor Company from June 2015 to January 2018, where Nicholas worked as a Stamping Engineer in the Ford College Graduate rotational program, publishing technical papers and developing CAD skills. An earlier position as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Ford allowed for contributions to quality improvement on the Final Assembly Line. Nicholas began their career as an Engineering Intern at Progressive Solutions, LLC, focusing on automotive painting operations. Academic credentials comprise a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, as well as additional studies at Schoolcraft College.
