Laura del Aguila

Laura del Aguila is an experienced language professional with a diverse background in translation and teaching. Currently serving as a Freelance Translator at TranscribeMe since January 2015, Laura specializes in ES-EN translation across various document types. In addition, Laura is a Language Lecturer at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas since March 2019, where courses include Academic English and English for Academic Purposes. Laura also teaches French to middle-school students at Markham College and has provided Spanish instruction to travelling professionals through Remote Year. Previous experience includes freelance translation for SLS international Inc. and a translator/communications officer role at Snackson. Laura's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Translation Studies from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor's degree in French and Hispanic Studies from Queen Mary University of London.
