Allen is a seasoned Construction and Project Manager with a continuous history of ever-increasing responsibility and successful management of domestic and international projects for both the government and private sectors. Beginning with his years as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers through today, Allen is adept at leading diverse teams, skilled in communications, and a problem solver.

In his role as Director, Allen is responsible for client satisfaction, employee engagement, project success, planning, profitability, and identifying new opportunities. He is currently the Contract and Project Manager for a team of 8 providing Construction Management/Project Management (CM/PM) Technical Support Services to the United States Army Corps of Engineers building a $200 million power generation facility for an agency of the Intelligence Community (IC).

One of Allen’s more notable assignments was as the Senior Project Manager for Construction for DC Department of General Schools (DGS) for DC Public Schools (DCPS), He provided leadership, management, contract adherence, project controls implementation, and process development for a portfolio of 19 school modernization projects representing 1.6 million square feet of modern education space valued in excess of $1 billion for which he was awarded the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), National Capital Chapter’s (NCC)’s Award for Individual Excellence.

Allen, who joined Markon in 2017, earned his MBA in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Accredited Professional.
