Jessica Schumer-Rowles

Jessica Schumer-Rowles is a highly experienced Senior Archaeologist and Principal Investigator at Markosky Engineering since July 2016, previously serving as an Archaeological Principal Investigator and Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants. With a strong background in archaeological investigations, Jessica has directed fieldwork, laboratory work, and background research while also preparing comprehensive reports essential to the Section 106 process. Jessica's experience extends to teaching roles, including English as a Second Language Tutor for elementary students in South Korea, and an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Penn State University, complemented by early career positions in archaeological management and database maintenance.
