Marks Paneth
Marc M. Despagni, CPA, is a Partner in the Commercial Business Group at Marks Paneth LLP. Mr. Despagni serves clients across a wide range of industries. His experience includes serving large, privately held companies, the largest of which are involved in builders of gated communities, factoring, and asset-based lending, wholesalers of various products, and home security. His diverse background also includes working with clients in the real estate, entertainment, printing, and advertising industries. In addition to his client responsibilities, he is an instructor in training the firm’s entry-level associates.
Mr. Despagni began his tenure with Marks Paneth in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, he spent two years providing auditing services at a boutique accounting firm. His broad background includes experience with financial statements, tax returns and projections thereon, business planning and general review, assistance, and consulting for the bookkeeping of complex transactions as well as assistance with day-to-day operations. He also assists clients in obtaining financing and other services through his network of professional relationships.
