John T. Fletcher II has over 18 years of experience in special education, currently serving as the Director of Special Education for Marlborough Public Schools since August 2015, and previously held roles as Assistant Director and Special Education Supervisor. John's academic background includes a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Suffolk Law School, a Master’s in Special Education from Fitchburg State College, and a Bachelor’s in History Education from the University of Delaware. Additional roles include Adjunct Faculty at Lesley University, Evaluation Team Supervisor at Lexington Public Schools, and Founder of Fletcher Consulting, which focused on supporting families of special needs students. John has a strong understanding of relevant state and federal education legislation, exceptional communication and analytical skills, and extensive experience managing educational programs, including directing a $20 million organization while co-executive director at Merrimack Special Education Collaborative.
