Verunka Marie Vlkova, PHR, is an experienced administrative and operations manager currently leading the Center for Diverse Abilities at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan since September 2021, where Verunka has successfully tailored onboarding processes for individuals with diverse needs and developed training protocols for employees and interns. Previously, Verunka served as the NYC Chapter Coordinator and Community Outreach Manager for The Shoebox Project for Women, managing recruitment and volunteer engagement. Additional experience includes roles as Marketing & Community Outreach Manager at Pimmento, where Verunka analyzed community engagement data, and as an Administrative Assistant at Metalmark Capital, coordinating recruitment processes. Verunka began career in human resources as an Assistant at Preferred Homecare / Lifecare Solutions. Verunka holds a Master’s Degree from New England Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University.
