Gene Mercer

Gene Mercer is a highly experienced Senior Designer currently working at SPX - Marley Engineered Products since February 2006, specializing in process engineering change requests and the creation of bill of materials and wiring diagrams. Prior to this role, Gene served as Sr. Lead Designer/System Administrator at Industrial Sheet Metal - Trane from 1993 to October 2005, where responsibilities included supporting local business unit users and maintaining LAN and WAN connectivity. Gene's earlier career also includes positions as Sr. Lead Designer and HVAC Designer at Industrial Sheet Metal, focusing on managing teams and developing shop drawings for custom HVAC units. Gene holds an AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design Technology from Richmond Community College.
