Rui Miguel Gonçalves

Rui Miguel Gonçalves has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2012, they worked as a Trainee at Gewiss, where they served as the Process Owner and team coordinator for a production line reconfiguration project using Lean tools. Rui Miguel also implemented 5S, Standard Work, and other visual management tools.

In 2013, Rui joined STEF as a Management Trainee, where they gained further experience in the logistics industry.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked on the HMIEXCEL Project at the University of Minho and Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A., focusing on SMART Manufacturing and Control.

In 2015, Rui joined Famaval Latin America as the Operations Coordinator, and later became the Operations Manager in 2017, responsible for overseeing operations and optimizing processes.

Rui's most recent position was at Marley Spoon, where they held several roles. Rui Miguel started as the Global Special Ops Analyst in 2017, developing and automating global reports and tools used by the Global Operations team. Rui Miguel also served as the Supply Chain Analytics Lead for the EU region from 2018 to 2019, before becoming the Supply Chain Manager for the US market from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Supply Chain Director at Marley Spoon.

Rui Miguel Gonçalves obtained their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universidade do Minho, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In 2011, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Poznan University of Technology as part of their Erasmus program, focusing on Corporate Management. Their educational journey showcases a strong background in industrial engineering, management, and corporate studies.
