Rytis Valentinavicius is an experienced System Engineer with a career spanning over two decades in the telecommunications and networking sectors. Currently serving at Marlink since February 2016, Rytis previously contributed to Airbus Defence and Space as a System Engineer from October 2012 to February 2016, after the company's rebranding from Astrium. Rytis's expertise also includes roles as a Network Engineer at both Vizada Networks from September 2007 to October 2012 and Taide Network AS from August 1999 to September 2007. Earlier in Rytis's career, a managerial position was held at TEO LT, AB, overseeing the IP Network group from 1996 to August 1999. Rytis holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Kaunas University of Technology, obtained between 1988 and 2003.
