Syed Rizvi

Syed Rizvi has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and product safety, particularly in the foodservice industry. Syed currently holds the position of Regulatory & Compliance Engineering Director at Marmon Foodservice Technologies, where they are responsible for ensuring the safe design, manufacture, and operation of various food processing and dispensing equipment. Prior to this, they served as the Global Director of Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs at Cornelius, where they provided leadership in regulatory compliance and crisis management. Syed also held the role of Regulatory Affairs and Lab Manager at Cornelius, overseeing global regulatory compliance and coordinating project teams.

Earlier in their career, Rizvi worked at Intertek, where they held various positions such as Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Leader, Lab Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor, Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, and Engineer. During their time at Intertek, they implemented a Quality Management System and received accreditation for ISO 17025. Syed also conducted root cause analysis and developed corrective actions, planned and conducted internal quality audits, and drove continuous improvement through quality metrics.

Rizvi has also held engineering positions at Rockwell Automation and Tata Motors, where they gained experience as an engineer and engineering intern, respectively. This diverse range of work experience demonstrates their expertise in regulatory compliance, product safety, quality management, and project management.

Syed Rizvi completed their high school education at Aligarh Muslim University from 1994 to 1996. Syed then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from Jamia Millia Islamia, graduating in the year 2000. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Getting Organized for Peak Performance" from LinkedIn in 2023 and "Introduction to ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance" from LinkedIn in 2022.
