Muhammad Sohail

Muhammad Sohail is the current Senior Manager of MIS and Communications at Maroof International Hospital. Muhammad has been in this position since August of 2015 and is responsible for the establishment of policies, procedures, standards, and objectives related to the management and communications departments within the hospital. Muhammad also oversees the development of yearly plans and directs/supervises staff in accordance with these plans. In addition, Sohail is responsible for HIS/MIS system implementation and developments of Mobile Apps & Analytical Dashboards.

Prior to their current role, Sohail worked as an IT Manager at Usman Memorial Hospital for 5 years. During their time there, they were responsible for migrating the UMH network infrastructure from Workgroup to Domain based model, designing and deploying network core Infrastructure at Head Office new building, and involving in developing new HMIS on ASP.NET that was implemented in all areas of the Hospital as well as the head office. Muhammad was also responsible for installing & configuring core services on Microsoft Windows and Linux, designing & configuring fool-proof security policies on the domain, designing and deploying VPN Server, Database Server for hospital and head offices, deploying E-mail Server with Spam/virus control on Windows platform, internet bandwidth management with CC Proxy on Windows 2003, configuring TCP/IP port blocking with Zone Alarm pro & Norton Security on Win servers, and installing & configuring wireless Access Point for Wireless Networking.

Muhammad Sohail obtained their MCS in Information Technology from Virtual University of Pakistan. Muhammad also has a BCS in Information Technology from Karachi University. In addition, they are certified by EXIN in ITIL (IT Service Management), Cisco in CCNA, CompTIA in CompTIA Project Plus, and Microsoft in MCSE.

Muhammad Sohail works with Subhan Ali - Senior Manager Accounts, Zeeshan Ali - Senior Manager Corporate Business, and Mir Abdul Waheed - Medical Director. Muhammad Sohail reports to Haroon Naseer, Chief Executive Officer.
