Bruce Asp has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Bruce started their career as a carpenter at Related Construction in 1984 and worked there until 1995. Bruce then joined MJS Interiors as a journeyman carpenter from 1995 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Marous Brothers Construction, where they held various roles such as Carpenter, Foreman, General Foreman, and Superintendent. Bruce managed a workforce of 150 to 175 workers on high-profile projects in the Cleveland area. Bruce's responsibilities included maintaining schedule flow, managing budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to clients. Bruce was promoted to Field Operations Manager in 2014, and later became the Director of Operations: Carpentry & Interior Group in 2017. Throughout their career, Bruce has consistently met project deadlines even with multiple delays and changes.

Bruce Asp has a diverse education background that includes various fields of study. In 1995, they obtained a National "D" license in Coaching Soccer from NSCAA. From 1992 to 1993, they attended Lorain County Joint Vocational School where they earned a degree in EMT - Intermediate, focusing on Firefighter Training and First Responder. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, Bruce studied Business Administration and Management, General at Malone University for a four-year degree. Additionally, they attended North Ridgeville High School, although the specific dates and degrees earned are not provided.
