Karl Cyr

Karl Cyr is an experienced professional with a strong background in technical consulting and solutions engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering at Marqeta since February 2022, Karl leads engagements focused on modernizing payment ecosystems for fintechs and innovators. Prior to this role, Karl was the Director of Solution Delivery at Blackhawk Network, overseeing implementations and service delivery for a client base generating over $2B in annual transactions. Karl's experience also includes key positions at CashStar, Jive Software, and RSA, where contributions ranged from building technical account management teams to managing customer relationships and supporting strategic clients. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University, a Graduate Certificate in Information Security from Boston University, and an MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.
