Christian Voelk

Christian Voelk has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Christian started their career at VOGT electronic Miesau GmbH in 1999 and worked as a Machine Administrator/Tool Setter in both the automotive and transformer build areas. Christian then joined Marquardt GmbH in 2004 as a Process Engineer/Team Leader in the Department of Industrial Engineering. In 2010, they transitioned to Marquardt Switches, Inc. North America, where they held positions such as Process Engineer/Team Leader, Electronic Planning Manager, Production and Engineering Technology Manager, and Project Management Administrator. Currently, Christian serves as the Director of Operations at Marquardt Switches, Inc. North America, a position they have held since June 2020.

Christian Voelk has a diverse education history. Christian started their education journey at Staaliches Gymnasium in Kusel, Germany, where they obtained a Secondary School Level 1 Certificate from 1988 to 1995. Christian then attended Vogt electronic Miesau GmbH in Miesau, Germany, from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained the Technician in Industrial Electronics degree in the field of Electronic Technology. In 2001, they attended Technical College in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and obtained an Advanced Technical College Entrance Qualification in Electronic Technology. From 2002 to 2004, Christian attended Hochschule Mannheim, focusing on Electronic Technology. Finally, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Correspondence Degree Course of Study in Electrical Engineering - Power Engineering and Process Automation at DAA Technikum in Essen, Germany, and obtained the State Certified Engineer degree. In addition to their formal education, Christian has also obtained various certifications in fields such as Emotional Intelligence, Supervisory Leadership, and Technical Training for specific machines and systems.
