Eelisa Jones

Eelisa Jones has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eelisa is currently employed at Marquette Energy Analytics, LLC as a Data Scientist since January 2023. Prior to their current role, Eelisa worked as a Student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from January 2020 to December 2022. Eelisa was also a Women in Science & Technology Fellow at the university from June 2021 to May 2022.

In 2021, Eelisa held a position as a Specialized Technical Analyst at Codeworks IT Careers, where they worked with Northwestern Mutual - Department of Law & Public Affairs from May to August. Before that, they worked at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, starting as an Administrative Support Specialist in Master Data Management from October 2017 to June 2019. Eelisa then transitioned to roles as a Data Steward in Business Process Insights from July to December 2020 and in Master Data Management from June 2019 to June 2020.

Eelisa also has experience with Zeidler Group, where they worked as a Community Dialogue Facilitator from March 2016 to July 2019. Additionally, they served as a Data Consultant in November and December 2018 and as an Executive Administrative Assistant from February to July 2016. Prior to joining Zeidler Group, Eelisa worked as a Front Desk Associate at PS Companies, specifically with the Milwaukee County Department of Human Resources, from February 2016 to October 2017.

Eelisa Jones holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Science & Technology (Data Science) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the same university, between 2011 and 2015.

Additionally, Eelisa has earned several certifications. In September 2022, they obtained the "Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate: Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" from Coursera | Google. In August 2022, they also achieved the "Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate: Foundations" from the same institution. Furthermore, they completed the "Machine Learning Pipelines with Azure ML Studio" course on Coursera in August 2022. Lastly, in June 2018, they received the "Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel 2016 Expert" certification from Microsoft.
