Rev. Thomas W. Neitzke was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2017. Father Neitzke is the dean of Arrupe College of Loyola University Chicago. A Wisconsin native, Father Neitzke earned an undergraduate degree in philosophy and theology from Loyola University Chicago, a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of San Francisco, a master of divinity degree from Santa Clara University and a doctorate focused on educational leadership from Creighton University. His dissertation, “Jesuit Collaborative Fundraising: Religious and Secular Nonprofit Partnerships,” studied the historical and modern roots of Jesuit fundraising and presented a collaborative process between secular and religious nonprofit organizations.
