Gary Bauer

Gary Bauer has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in operations and executive management roles. Gary is currently serving as the Regional Director of Operations at Marquis Health Consulting Services, a position they began in February 2022. Prior to this, Bauer worked as the Executive Director at ProMedica from April 2021 to January 2022. Gary'slongest tenure was at Genesis, where they held various positions including Regional Vice President of Operations, Regional Executive Director, and Executive Director. During their time at Genesis, Bauer achieved significant accomplishments such as implementing bundled payment care initiatives, consolidating and streamlining operations, increasing EBITDARM by 317%, converting the business model to a short-stay model, and increasing profit margins by 247%. Gary also demonstrated their ability to drive financial success and cost reduction by increasing facility EBITDARM, decreasing nursing agency costs and bad debt expenses, and reducing worker's compensation cases.

Gary Bauer received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 1997. Gary later pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from Towson University, which they completed in 1999.
