Himanshu Taneja is an accomplished culinary and operations professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Area Director of Operations for South & East India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka at Marriott International since November 2010, Himanshu has held various prominent positions including Culinary Director for South Asia and India, and Executive Chef at JW Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai. Prior to Marriott, Himanshu worked at Taj Hotels from May 2004 to October 2010, where responsibilities included Banquet Chef and Sous Chef roles. Additional experience includes culinary positions at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Palaces & Resorts, and early training at renowned establishments such as Orient Express and The Oberoi. Academic accomplishments include multiple degrees from Cornell University and education from Harvard University.
