Hiromi Murayama

Hiromi Murayama serves as the Director of Luxury Design Management at Marriott International, overseeing design management for high-priority luxury properties and leading projects for brands such as EDITION Hotels and Ritz-Carlton Reserves. Previously, Hiromi held the position of Director of Design Management for the Luxury Group, acting as a global design strategist for prominent brands including The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis. As the founder and design consultant at Design by Hiromi Akai, notable projects such as Sip and Guzzle, a luxury restaurant bar in New York, were completed. Additionally, Hiromi founded Sugar Paper Blue, curating eco-friendly apparel for babies and toddlers. With extensive experience at Yabu Pushelberg as Design Team Lead and Project Lead, plus a foundational internship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hiromi Murayama's expertise is rooted in innovative design and luxury branding.
