Matthew Barczak

Matthew Barczak is currently the Vice President and Head of Global Networks at Marriott International, where responsibilities include leading the Global Networks organization overseeing network architecture, engineering, and operations across datacenters, cloud infrastructure, corporate offices, and 8600 properties worldwide. Prior to this role, Matthew held multiple senior director positions at Visa, with a focus on commercial network engineering, global network systems, and transformation initiatives that improved security and operational efficiencies. Matthew's career began at Verizon, where roles spanned from network engineering to management of business strategy and system integration projects. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Information and Telecommunication Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science from Towson University.
