Yibing Mao

Yibing Mao has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and legal industries. Yibing is currently the President of Greater China at Marriott International, where they oversee the company's operations in the region and manages its customer-loyalty program. Prior to this, they served as an Independent Director at Las Vegas Sands Corp. from 2021 to 2023. From 1996 to 2020, Yibing worked at Marriott International as the Global Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Counsel for the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Marriott, they held positions at Milbank LLP and Slaughter and May, where they provided legal advice and advisory services on various projects and initial public offerings. Yibing began their legal career as an Associate at McGuireWoods LLP.

Yibing Mao completed a Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1989, they attended Duke University School of Law and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Before pursuing their graduate studies, they studied International Law at Peking University from 1984 to 1986. Yibing's undergraduate education took place at Jilin University, where they received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from 1980 to 1984.
