Vipin Bhardwaj

Vipin Bhardwaj has a diverse and extensive work history. Vipin'smost recent role is as Vice President Operations at MaRS Planning & Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd., starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant - Process and Project Management at NJS ENGINEERS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED from November 2020 to December 2022.

From 2017 to 2020, Vipin served as a Deputy General Manager at Tata Consulting Engineers Limited. During this time, they were involved in various projects such as the Guwahati Smart City and Silvassa Smart City. Vipin also contributed to the preparation of the DPR for the ADB funded Rajkot WTP, serving as a process and EIA expert.

Before joining Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, Vipin worked at SHAH TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED as a Deputy Team Leader from July 2009 to April 2017. In this role, they assisted the Public Works Department of Goa for the Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Development project. Vipin successfully planned, designed, prepared DPRs, bid documents, and executed and commissioned the project for augmentation of Water Supply and Sewerage Facilities across the state of Goa.

Additionally, Vipin has held positions at Wadia Techno-Engineering Services Ltd as a Senior Consultant from June 2008 to June 2009, SNC Lavlin (Span consultants) as a Senior Manager from January 2007 to May 2008, Pentair Water Quality Systems as a Project Engineer from May 2006 to December 2006, National Environmental Services Center as a Technical Assistance Specialist from January 1998 to February 2006, and Century Chemicals as a Shift Chemical Engineer from November 1995 to June 1997.

Vipin Bhardwaj obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pune. Vipin then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from West Virginia University, which they completed from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Masters degree in Agriculture with a focus on Solid Waste Management from West Virginia University, completing it in 2001. Vipin Bhardwaj also holds several certifications, including being a Certified class ID water systems operator in the State of West Virginia, USA, obtained in March 2004. Vipin is also a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI), Kolkata and a Life Member of the Indian Water Works Association.
