Alison Layfield, SPHR has over two decades of experience in human resources. Alison is currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Mars Veterinary Health since May 2022. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Banfield Pet Hospital, including Human Resources Director from May 2020, Director of Talent and Engagement from January 2018 to May 2020, Senior Manager of Talent and OD from June 2016 to May 2020, and Senior Manager of Learning and Development from January 2013 to June 2016. Before joining Banfield Pet Hospital, they worked as a Senior Associate Relations Manager at People and Organization from January 2010 to January 2013. Furthermore, they worked as a Regional HR Manager at Jack in the Box from February 2003 to December 2009 and as a Corporate Recruiter at CH2M from February 2000 to February 2003.
Alison Layfield, SPHR, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona. Alison also obtained a Master's degree in Whole Systems Design and Organizational Design from Antioch University Seattle. Additionally, they have completed High Performance Collaboration training at The Guttman Group and Executive Presence Training at Kellie Mullen. Alison Layfield has obtained certifications in Prosci and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified by SHRM since 2013.
