Kai-Biu Shiu

Kai-Biu Shiu currently serves as the Assistant Chair of the Oncology Advisory Board at Mars Veterinary Health and has held the role of Specialist in Veterinary Oncology at VCA Animal Hospitals since October 2010, providing cancer care to dogs and cats in southwest Wisconsin. As a board-certified oncologist (ACVIM 2010), Kai-Biu Shiu specializes in chemotherapy, staging, consultation, and electrochemotherapy. Additional roles include serving as the Assistant Chair of the Pet CancerCare Alliance and as a Scientific Advisory Board Member for the Morris Animal Foundation, focusing on impactful research in feline oncology. Kai-Biu Shiu is also a Scientific Advisor on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Czar's Promise, advocating for cancer research and treatment for pets. Previous experience includes consulting on veterinary oncology clinical trials and founding the Dane County Veterinary Medical Association. Educational background includes degrees from the University of Glasgow, Cornell University, Royal Veterinary College, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
