Nate Spofford has a diverse work experience in various roles related to medical affairs and veterinary analytics. Nate currently holds the position of Global Director, Medical Affairs Strategic Initiatives at Mars Veterinary Health, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Nate worked at Banfield Pet Hospital for a significant period of time, where they held multiple roles including Director of Veterinary Analytics, Senior Manager of Veterinary Applied Research, and Senior Research Specialist. At Banfield, they led teams of data scientists and analysts to leverage electronic medical data for evidence-based care and to drive continual quality improvement throughout the hospital network. Nate also has experience working at Oregon Health and Science University as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Assistant, where they managed participants and study-related activities on clinical trials. Nate'swork experience spans from 2003 to the present.
Nate Spofford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in 1999-2003 and a Master of Public Health degree from Portland State University in 2007-2008.
